Terms of use
TrueVouch is an invite-only prototype, and most of this page is a placeholder, not a real agreement.
While it says so here, expect things to move and change without notice, and treat everything you see as a work in progress. Real terms will be written before TrueVouch opens to the public. One section below is an exception: the limits on how you may use a TrueVouch record apply now.
How you may not use TrueVouch
TrueVouch profiles are published by members about themselves, so they can show the people they trade with who they are. You may not use a TrueVouch profile, score, standing, tier, badge, or anything you receive from our API to decide whether to hire, fire, or promote someone, whether to rent them a home, whether to lend them money or extend them credit, whether to insure them or set their rate, or for any other purpose covered by the Fair Credit Reporting Act. TrueVouch is not a consumer reporting agency, TrueVouch profiles are not consumer reports, and we do not offer them for any of those uses. You may not scrape, bulk collect, resell, or republish TrueVouch information about other people, and you may not build a screening, list building, or lookup service on top of it. TrueVouch tells you what a member's record shows, and the decision about whether to trade with that person is yours, not ours. TrueVouch is currently an invite-only prototype and the rest of this page is not yet a full agreement, but the limits in this paragraph apply now.
